Exports rose 2.5% in February

India’s exports grew by 2.2 percent in February. Exports have been declining for the past six months and have increased slightly over the past month. Total exports last month were $ 2. 6 billion. Exports of petroleum products, engineering products and electronics have increased. Jewelry exports fell 20 percent.

Similarly, imports also increased in February. Imports rose 2.5 percent to $ 5.7 billion.

Exports declined from April to February this fiscal. Total exports during the period declined 1.05 percent to $ 292.91 billion. Similarly, imports have dropped by 9 months. Imports fell 30 percent to $ 436.30 billion.
