Banned – Aadhaar related companies have been fined Rs 10,000

New Delhi:

Those who do not link the Aadhaar card with PAN card will be fined Tk 10,000 each month. The Internal Revenue Department has said that the penalty will be imposed.

It has already announced that if the Aadhaar number is not linked to a PAN card, it will turn into an inactive card.

If it becomes inactive, there is a fine of Rs.

PAN cards are used for various tax based activities. Many things, including applying for a driving license to open a bank account, require a PAN card. In this case, it is very difficult to do such activities when the PAN card is deactivated. Similarly, PAN cards require more than Rs. PAN card is mandatory for cash transactions. This is confirmed by section 279B (1) of section 139A of the Income Tax Act. Accordingly, the law penalizes every transaction made through an inactive PAN card. The PAN card can be disabled by attaching the PAN number to the Aadhaar card. Attaching it will continue to be effective.
