Toshiba Dynabook SS-RX2 SSD is the world’s first ever notebook with a 512GB solid state device(SSD).SS-RX2 is a mobile notebook PC which is created for the design concept of true mobility.It is thin in design(19.5mm*25.5mm) and weight is also less compared to other notebook PCs(1095 grams).But still the physical design integrates all the capabilities that essential for the mobile notebook PCs.The battery life of SS-RX2 is excellent. It has about

12 hours of  long time battery operation(medium use). SS-RX2 also have an amazing ruggedness in its physical design.

Another design speciality is energy saving components.SSRX2 has a trans reflective LCD and also has an ultra low voltage CPU. Trans reflect LCD will use the sunlight to produce high quality images.So the notebook do not need to switch the back light application ,so power saving.

512GB SSD

SS-RX2 has the largest capacity of solid state device compare to any other laptops available(about four times).The

512GB SSD will employ  a 2bit  multilevel  NAND flash memory in it.This NAND flash memory supports high speed parallel processing.It will also increase the data access speed of the laptop.It has 180mb/s speed for writing operation and 230mb/s for reading operation.It do not need mechanical structures like rotating disc etc.So it has resistance to shock and vibration.The presence of SSD reinforce the overall  performance excellence of the SS-RX2.

FEATURES

SS-RX2 offers a large chunk of SSD storage together with a  Core2Duo CPU of 1.40GHz.It also has a 3GB RAM for memory.The screen is 12.1 inch WXGA LCD screen.The weight is around 1095 grams and has  19.5mm*25.5 mm thickness.It has a battery life of 12 hours long time operation for medium uses.

SS-RX2 has WiFi IEEE application with 2.1+EDR blue tooth in it.It also has the gigabit Ethernet facility and a DVD super multidrive.The performance of 512GB SSD is at least 2-3  times faster than the normal laptops.The expected price of the device is around $4000.
