The much awaited online service for using customized fonts for emailing, blogging and other texting needs is over. SendFont has announced its launch of a free online service, which can virtually provide the user with almost all fonts imaginable for texting purposes.

Regarded as a one of the revolutionary ideas since the advent of writing in the Internet, SendFont conveys the intended emotions that the user wants it to carry. SendFont has made it possible to mean something more than simply text on a page.

SendFont can be used in emails, blogs, websites, texting and social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace.

SendFont is classic in design and usage. To start with the user has to log in and choose whichever font he wishes to use. Font editor can be used to type in the selected font and also provides a platform for the user to change the color or font anytime he wants. Comparison between multiple fonts used can also be done side by side using Font editor.

The inspiration for SendFont was born from a tweet from Weird Al Yankovic that stated, “There should be a font for sarcasm.”, said Brock Doxey and Ben Layton, the co-founders of SendFont.

“Brock and I realized that even with all of the amazing technology available to communicate today, that not being able to use any font you want to express yourself was archaic and painful”, said Layton. Together Brock and Ben Layton have created a fun way to change the way in which emotions are expressed through SendFont.
