If one were to give a tagline for the Samsung N110, it would mostly be related to the unbelievable battery life it offers. Its attractive glossy black lid, red trim and impressive and simple design works makes it suitable for both students and business professionals.

The 10-inch notebook with an Intel Atom N270 Processor 1.6GHz (533MHz FSB, 512KB Cache) features a 10.1-inch diagonal LED-Backlit WSVGA+ (1024×600) display. The notebook comes with 1GB DDR2 SDRAM (667MHz) and Intel GMA 950 graphics. The notebook has an above average built, with a strong and durable chassis, strong hinges and close to scratch proof painted top.
The notebook does not offer an easy access to its components with the hard drive, RAM module and wireless cards all housed inside. The display is above average but does lack in performance with super saturated colors. Vertical and horizontal viewing angles are good. The notebook features reasonable sound and speaker performance as well. The N110 features a 160GB 5400 rpm Samsung SATA HDD,Broadcom 802.11a/b/g [wireless] and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.
The keyboard is comfortable to use though better performance are available in this aspect from other notebooks in the class. Samsung has included an excellent Synaptics touchpad which is easy to use and offers very little time lag. The N110 offers three USB ports, VGA out, audio jacks, LAN, and a Kensington lock slot apart from an SDHC card slot. The system has a comfortable thermal performance and draws less power as well. It also has minimal noise levels.
The best part about the N110 is its battery performance powered by 6-cell Lithium-Ion battery (5900mAh, 66Wh). With a 70% brightness level and other functions in normal operation like the wireless facility and stuff, the system manages to give much more time than the manufacturer originally claims it to offer. Power consumption varies from 6 to 9 watts.
The 10.27″ x 7.3″ x 1.19″ system with a weight of approximately 2.78lb comes at a price of $439.
