In response to Wiimote a controller for the Nintendo Wii console,Microsoft is planning to bring out a complete fresh set of features through its project Natal for Xbox 360. Wiimote essentially brought a motion control game controller which looks like a wand. For the cell processor powered  PS3, Sony  introduced a prototype motion sensing wand. Now, Xbox 360 is planning to join the world of motion controlled console by taking the controller away and making the player the controller. Yes,you heard it right!

With Project Natal, Xbox 360 is will have features  like using your entire body as a controller,full body motion capture, using your personal gear to play games on it,voice controlled applications,facial recognition and a whole lot more.

Walk into the room and the Xbox 360 immediately recognizes you according to your figure and loads an avatar.Each gesture you make is immediately produced on the screen seamlessly. It can even track other players who walk into the vision of the camera and alter the world on the screen accordingly.

With Project Natal, Xbox 360 will be an ultimate gaming experience offering a whole different level of multiplayer support for all the hardcore gamers out there speaking for myself, I totally cant wait to get my hands on those! However, its going to  be a lengthy wait as it is rumoured that the release date wont happen for another year or so.
