IRIVER has developed a new spinn PMP which is called iriver spinn.It is slim and it have a pack of features in it. In addition, to the spinn system wheel it can play videos and music. And it can display photos too .Iriver spinn is actually advanced music player.It do have a 3.2 inch TFT slash LCD screen,FM tuner,recording capability system,an advanced text viewer and also have an e-dictionary. The iriver spinn will be available in 4GB,8GB versions.It is also blue tooth compatible. It has a descent FM radio built in it. So the blue tooth can let the user to connect the device to a set of blue tooth headphones and its speakers,which makes it blue tooth compatible.

ADVANTAGES

 Iriver spinn do have a good physical design.It is made of metal like aluminium.But the back of the device is made of metal plastic. The physical design of the iriver spinn’s screen is also very good.The contrast ratio of the spinn’s screen is much better than the LCD screen. It is scratch resistant too .The pixel response time is smaller compared to the LCD.For LCD it is about 10ms,but for iriver spinn it is 0.01ms.So the colours are more accurate. The video quality is excellent.The sound quality of the iriver spinn is also very good. The user interface of the iriver spinn is nice.The device providing excellent file support.The only difficulty is that screen buttons are small and tight.So menu items are a little difficult to select using large fingers. 

DISADVANTAGES

 1.High price
2.Players software is not reliable. The designing and the usability of the iriver spinn’s software is not reliable. The navigation of user interface is not smooth.

3.Although the physical design of iriver spinn’s screen is good it have some difficulties in its internal design.The spinn’s screen can only display 262000 colours.But a typical LCD screen can display 16.7 million.So some video scenes may look washed out in Iriver spinn.Some times it will become blocky.

4.Low file capacity is another problem.The 8GB capacity can’t hold much music and video files.
