Internet Explorer 8 evolves as a perfect combination with the Microsoft’s latest operating system windows 7. The striking feature of IE 8 is awesome integration with the brand new Taskbar. The features of this combination are many. One of them is that Taskbar previews can treat individual IE8 tabs as separate windows even though they come under a single tab. This feature helps in switching the in the browser and will make the whole tab situation less confusing for the users who don’t even understand the concepts of tabs because they appear as individual windows. You can change this feature in the option so that only the active tab appears in the preview. Another feature included in the Internet Explorer 8 is the “jump list”. The “jump list” gets displayed when you right-click on the Internet Explorer icon in the Taskbar. The jump list basically shows a list of the most frequently visited sites and the users can pin them to the top and by doing so these sites are always quickly accessible. This can be considered as another way to bookmark your favorite sites. But Firefox offers an extension called “WinFox” that consist of some of these features. But there are some features that can’t simply be added through an extension, and “WinFox” is only an application and has to be running alongside the browser. One another matter of concern is that “WinFox” not so stable thing, but can be defended by the fact that this particular application is in the early stages of development. Browsers themselves are the one which will start to take advantage of features like this as well. As the number of the features increases, more and more users get attracted to the product. But these features aren’t enough to actually make one to move away from Firefox. But the integration of the browser with the operating system must happen in the near future.
