Here we talk about a cool software which manage your desktop alignment. The application can remember your desktop settings and save them to a file and restore the settings whenever it gets altered. There are some large applications and games which affects your screen resolution and desktop arrangements. You will have to rearrange the desktop once you close such applications. In such situations this software will be of great use. Now let’s move to some practical stuff.

First of all arrange the desktop as you wish. You can arrange the icons either in some uniform patterns, shapes or can leave them mixed up without a proper alignment. The arrangement is upto you. Now let’s take a look at our software, DesktopOK 1.54. It is a free software and a small one. You can download the 37.5KB zip file from here.  Now you can start playing with your desktop. Set the language in the application and you will see options for Restore, save and delete your desktop styles in the application.

After aligning the icons as you like, click on the save button in the application to save the current desktop alignment. You can now change the desktop alignment to a new look and can save that file too. This way you can save a number of desktop arrangements by using the software. Imagine you have saved 2 of your favorite arrangements as files f1 and f2. Now you are in arrangement f2 and want to restore the first arrangement, that is f1. All that you need is open the application once again. There you will see both f1 and f2 , which are the saved files. Just click on the file f1 and click restore. You will be amazed to see that your desktop has been realigned to the first style. This way you can change your desktop alignment to any of the saved styles with a single click.
