By default, Windows 7 will provide highly eye-candy themes. Right click on the Windows 7 desktop. Choose the personalize option. You can now see the list of available themes. It is possible to download many beautiful themes. There are some hidden themes in Windows 7. These hidden themes are primarily provided for regional countries such as Great Britain, Australia, United States, Canada, and South Africa. Find out how to enable these hidden themes. When you start the Windows 7 installation, the first thing you need to do is to select a time, language and currency format. This determines what themes you are presented with, by default. 
Open the folder option. Under ‘View’ tab, you can see the option ‘Hide protected operating system file (Recommended)’. Uncheck it. Click ‘Apply’.
Now, to access the other international themes, browse ‘C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT’, where you are able to see the respective folders for every regional theme.


The folders MCT-AU stands for Australia, MCT-CA for Canada, MCT-GB = Great Britain, MCT-US for United States and MCT-ZA for South Africa. Go into any of the themes folder. Double click the theme to apply it. Take a look at MCT-ZA themes provided by windows 7.
